DOSAN BUNSIK was born amid a new wave of change in Apgujeong.
As high-end and Italian restaurants moved in one by one, breathing new life into Apgujeong, the familiar Korean bunsik that everyone once enjoyed so casually as kids was quietly disappearing.
DOSAN BUNSIK was born from this sense of loss, with a desire to reinterpret familiar bunsik through a contemporary sensibility and a new cultural perspective.
The name “DOSAN” comes from Dosan-daero, a street in Apgujeong.
The name carries a deeper meaning: reimagining Korean bunsik from a space that reflects Seoul’s evolving cultural landscape.
DOSAN BUNSIK expresses Korean elements, street culture, and vintage sensibility through a contemporary lens — connecting every part of the brand, from our custom-designed Mugunghwa patterns and vintage tableware to old-fashioned barley tea bottles, music, and space, into one cohesive experience.
